Back in 2011, BAA Training (at that time Baltic Aviation Academy), operating Boeing 737 CL and Airbus A320 full flight simulators, started facing the constant need for spare parts and technical services. More importantly, the process of a spare part delivery was too long, which meant that cost-inefficient AOG situations were also prolonged. Therefore, the training centre decided to gather a team of engineers and project managers who could ensure smooth maintenance of their full flight simulators.
It worked. The professional team were able to anticipate critical situations and prevent them more efficiently. As for AOG situations, reaction-to-action has been reduced to a minimum, allowing the training centre to save money, time and retain its reputation.
Witnessing such engineering and management collaboration success, other training centers in the market started inquiring about the possibility to provide them with customised full flight simulator maintenance solutions. Therefore, in 2012 SimHelp was born.
Through years of building valuable know-how, today SimHelp is a well-known FFS maintenance solution provider in the aviation market. Its business, backed up by Avia Solution Group – one of the strongest aviation infrastructure groups in Europe – has been growing organically and is based on an essence of what the customers really want.
We took up a problem-solving approach and, in order to keep downtime to a minimum, we are able to offer a variety of stocking spare parts for the best price. If we don’t have it, we will find it, because we co-operate with dozens of key players across the industry.
